Privacy is very important to our users and it's important to us, too. The Beer Passport does not collect any personally identifiable information — no information about you or your device; no tracking information; etc.
The Beer Passport does not require user accounts to use the site or mobile application — so there is nothing for us to share about you! Furthermore, any data that you enter in the mobile application, such as your favorite locations, stays on the device and is never transmitted anywhere. Please note that if you choose to delete the mobile application from your device, all of your local data will be lost as well.
We do, however, collect a small amount of metadata so that we can evaluate usage and performance. For example, we may keep track of the number of searches that are performed on the website, how many times the mobile application has been opened, or how many times specific locations are visited. We do not, however, associate those counts with you or your device.
